Wimbledon Village is sometimes described as where the country meets the city. The village is a great place to visit and stay with a lovely mix of shops, cafes and bars to relax in and watch the world go by. The charm of the area is enhanced with period buildings and lovely open areas, making it one of the most unique places to see in London.
Wimbledon Park comprises of a park (67 acres) and a suburban area located at the south and east of the park. The park is separate from the more famous Wimbledon Common: Womble territory from the hit 70s children TV show. To the west of the park is the iconic Wimbledon Tennis Club and the area is served by the Wimbledon Park tube station.
