SW5 courier collection and delivery Travel with your item or send it unaccompanied

Send documents, keys, parcels or urgent business items from SW5. Our 24-hour office can assess your journey and load and provide a quote. Call 020 8870 8888 or enquire online.

WHAT WE CARRY

What can we collect from SW5?

From a key envelope to a business parcel, tell our office what you need to send. We will assess the item and the collection and delivery arrangements.

Documents and keys

Enquire about signed documents, office papers or an authorised key envelope. Agree who holds the item, who can release it and where it will be handed over.

Personal parcels

Send an everyday parcel or ask about a forgotten item. Tell us what it is and where it is held; the office will confirm whether it is suitable for the proposed journey.

Urgent business items

Enquire about sending an urgent business item from one office to another. Our office can discuss the timing, vehicle and any assistance needed for the declared item.

LOCAL COLLECTIONS

Where is your item in SW5?

At Network Business Centres, 282 Earl's Court Road, SW5 9AS, a building name alone may not identify the sender: the offices are spread over several floors. Give the tenant name and floor or suite, and agree an entrance or meeting point with the sender.

For keys at Marsh & Parsons, 246 Old Brompton Road, SW5 0DE, distinguish the agency office from any property it manages. For an item at London Marriott Hotel Kensington, 147c Cromwell Road, SW5 0TH, identify whether the holder is a guest, organiser or hotel contact and confirm the entrance and authority to release it.

For a shop order, such as one at Robert Dyas, 188 Earl's Court Road, SW5 9QG, confirm that it is ready and the shop permits collection by someone else. Give the office the release instructions, packaging and dimensions.

  • Agree the handover point with the holder; a named address does not establish a courier entrance or stopping place.

HOW TO ARRANGE IT

Arrange your SW5 collection and delivery

Our office will assess the item, journey and handover before agreeing an arrangement.

Describe the item and journey

Give both full addresses and postcodes, the item description and quantity, your preferred collection date and time, and sender and recipient names and phone numbers.

Discuss the vehicle and quote

Tell us if you will travel with the item, need loading help, or have stairs, several items or a heavy load. The office will assess suitability and discuss the vehicle, assistance and current quote.

Agree the handover

Arrange for the authorised sender to have the item ready, and give us the agreed entrance or meeting point and any recipient, reception or safe-place instructions. A booking is confirmed when KB sends confirmation by SMS and/or email; an enquiry or quote alone is not confirmation.

GOOD TO KNOW

Local handover questions

Choose a workable handover for the particular building, sender and item.

What should I give you for an Earl's Court office collection?

Give the full address and postcode, business or tenant name, floor or suite, item description and sender's contact. Agree the entrance or meeting point with staff, and establish whether the sender can bring the item there.

Can you collect keys, hotel items or shop orders?

Yes, you can enquire about all three. Collection depends on the item being located and its release authorised. Confirm the actual address, who will hand it over and any order or release reference; describe the packaging and dimensions so the office can assess the collection. For meeting documents, include the organiser or meeting name.

Where should we meet for a busy SW5 address?

Agree a practical handover point with the sender and our office rather than assuming a standard courier stop. Tell us if the item needs to be brought to that point; the driver must be able to stop safely and lawfully.

GOOD TO KNOW

Courier questions

Answers on cover, loading, handover, pricing and tracking.

Are my items insured?

Goods-in-transit insurance is not included. If you need cover for your items, please arrange suitable insurance before collection.

Can the driver help with loading?

We may be able to arrange help with several lighter items if you call the office beforehand. Give us the quantity, size and weight, any stairs or carrying involved, and the help needed so we can agree a suitable driver and vehicle.

KB Cars is not a removals company, and drivers cannot be assumed to lift heavy or exceptionally large loads.

Can I travel with my items?

Yes, you can travel with your items or send them unaccompanied. Tell the office about the passenger and the load so we can agree a suitable vehicle and quote. Bulky or many-item jobs are assessed separately from an ordinary passenger journey.

Can you leave an item at reception or in a safe place?

Yes, the sender can authorise a reception handover or a specific safe place. Give the office clear instructions and contact details in advance. If nobody can hand over or receive the item, discuss the arrangements before booking; waiting charges apply, including when unloading takes a long time.

How much will delivery cost?

Ask the office for a current quote. The price depends on the journey and load, including whether an ordinary item is accompanied and whether the job is assessed as bulky or involving many items. Loading assistance and other agreed extras may affect the quote; waiting charges also apply.

Can I track the driver?

Yes. Courier bookings include live driver tracking, the driver's name and vehicle registration, along with booking confirmations.
