SW7 courier collections and deliveries Travel with your item or send it on its own

Send documents, keys, parcels or urgent business items from SW7. Our 24-hour office can quote for your item and journey, and courier bookings include live driver tracking. Call 020 8870 8888 or enquire online.

WHAT CAN MOVE

What can our SW7 courier collect?

Enquire about everyday personal and business items, sent on their own or accompanied. The office will confirm suitability and the arrangements.

Documents and keys

Arrange a sealed document, key or similar ordinary item to be collected from an agreed person or business and delivered to your chosen address. Provide the release contact and any reference.

Personal parcels

Send an everyday personal parcel from SW7 to your chosen destination. Tell the office what is being moved and who is authorised to hand it over so we can discuss suitability.

Urgent business items

Enquire about business-to-business delivery of paperwork or small office parcels. Our office can discuss the timing and quote for the journey.

LOCAL COLLECTION NOTES

Make the SW7 handover clear

South Kensington has shops and offices above street level. At an upstairs office, such as one at 29 Thurloe Street or Alfred House, 23–24 Cromwell Place, agree whether the item will be brought to reception or another handover point.

A hotel’s postal address may not identify its collection door. The Bailey’s lists 140 Gloucester Road; its main entrance is on Courtfield Road and its accessible entrance is on Harrington Gardens. Agree the release point with the hotel rather than assuming a courier entrance.

Have the item and authorised contact ready, and check street signs and any temporary loading restrictions for the actual collection point.

  • Shop trading name, street number and order or item reference
  • Office company, floor and entrance or intercom instructions
  • Authorised contact and agreed handover point

GOOD TO KNOW

Local collection questions

The right address and release arrangements help make a South Kensington collection straightforward.

What address details matter for a South Kensington business collection?

Give the full SW7 street address and company name, not just the area. For an upstairs office, include the floor, entrance or intercom and authorised handover contact; agree where the item will be handed over.

Can a courier collect a forgotten item from a hotel?

Yes, subject to the hotel agreeing to release it and the office accepting the job. Confirm that the hotel has the item, ask what authority or reference it requires, and agree the handover door. At The Bailey’s, the main entrance is on Courtfield Road, while the accessible entrance is on Harrington Gardens; neither is automatically the courier handover point.

What should a shop collection be ready with?

The shop should confirm that the item is packed and released to the nominated collector. Give its trading name and street number, the order or item reference and a staff contact. For example, South Kensington Books is at 22 Thurloe Street; its address does not itself establish third-party release.

HOW TO ARRANGE IT

Arrange your collection and delivery

Our office will assess the item and handover, agree a suitable vehicle and provide a quote.

Share the details

Give both full addresses, the item, preferred collection date and time, and the sender’s and recipient’s names and contact details. KB Cars is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.

Agree the arrangement

Describe the quantity, size and weight, any stairs or carrying help, and whether you will travel with the item. The office will discuss suitability, vehicle and price. A booking is confirmed when KB sends confirmation by SMS and/or email; an enquiry or quote alone is not confirmation.

Prepare the handover

Have the item and authorised contact ready at the agreed point. Give any authorised reception or safe-place instructions in advance and arrange how the recipient will receive the delivery.

GOOD TO KNOW

Courier questions

Cover, loading, handover and tracking for your SW7 delivery.

Are my items insured?

Goods-in-transit insurance is not included. If you need cover for your items, please arrange suitable insurance before collection.

Can the driver help with loading?

Help with several lighter items may be arranged in advance. Call the office with the quantity, size and weight, any stairs and the carrying help needed so we can assess the driver and vehicle arrangements.

We are not a removals company, and drivers cannot be assumed to lift heavy or exceptionally large loads. Waiting charges apply, including when unloading takes a long time.

Can I travel with my items?

Yes, you can travel with your items or send them unaccompanied. Tell the office about the passenger and load so we can agree a suitable vehicle and quote. Bulky or many-item jobs are assessed separately from an ordinary passenger journey, whether or not you travel.

Can you leave an item at reception or in a safe place?

The sender can authorise a reception handover or a specific safe place. Give the office clear instructions and contact details in advance; do not assume access or an automatic drop-off. If a handover or receipt may be difficult, discuss it with the office before booking. Waiting charges apply.

How much will delivery cost?

Ask the office for a current quote. The price depends on the journey and load, including whether the item is accompanied and any loading assistance. Waiting and other agreed charges may apply.

Can I track the driver?

Yes. Courier bookings include live driver tracking, the driver’s name and vehicle registration, along with booking confirmation.
