Pre-book a journey to or from South Terminal. For arrivals, we normally meet you inside; our 24-hour office can quote for your route and requirements.
AT THE TERMINAL
Check your flight’s terminal with your airline or Gatwick’s terminal finder before arranging your journey. South and North have different approaches and collection areas.
South’s departure drop-off is on the lower level for a quick set-down. The forecourt is charged; ask the office whether the charge is included in your quote. Short Stay is a separate option if someone wants to park and accompany you for longer.
KB normally parks in Short Stay and meets you inside arrivals. Agree the collection details with the office; a name board can be provided. South’s express pickup is in Car Park 3, ground floor, and requires the driver to stay with the vehicle. It is an airport facility, not a fixed KB meeting point.
STATION ACCESS
Gatwick’s railway station is at South Terminal, so South passengers do not need the inter-terminal shuttle. If your flight uses North instead, allow for the free shuttle between terminals and the walk and luggage handling at either end.
Compare the whole journey from your address: how will you reach the first station, where will you change and how many bags will you carry? A KB car can collect you from your address instead.
CHOOSING A TRAIN
Compare the London connections with GWR via Reading, starting with how you will reach your first station.
Southern and Gatwick Express connect Victoria with Gatwick; Southern also serves Clapham Junction. Thameslink connects Gatwick with London Bridge, Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras. Consider how you will reach the station and manage any changes with luggage.
GWR links Reading with Gatwick. If your route brings you to Reading, this is an alternative to travelling through London; include any change needed at Reading.
Choosing a vehicle For a car journey, tell the office how many people and bags are travelling together, including bag sizes and any bulky items. Ask about an estate for extra luggage or a six-passenger vehicle for a group; seven- and eight-plus passenger vehicles can also be discussed. The office can help agree a suitable vehicle for the combined load.

Your quote reflects your addresses, direction, date and time, vehicle and agreed extras. Send your South Terminal flight details, passenger numbers, luggage and any vehicle or assistance needs; peak travel can affect the price. The journey fare, airport parking or access charges and driver waiting are separate parts of the cost. Ask the office what your quote includes and agree any additional charges before booking. An enquiry or quote is not a confirmed booking; KB confirms bookings by SMS and/or email.

Yes, we can carry a folding wheelchair where it fits, but we do not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Tell the office its folded dimensions, your other luggage and any boarding or assistance needs so we can agree a suitable arrangement.
Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair are free. Tell the office about the help you need in advance so we can arrange a driver able to assist. An optional escort inside a building, shopping centre or flat depends on the task and may carry an agreed charge; discuss the scope and any fee with the office.
Yes. You can bring and fit your own suitable child seat, or ask KB to supply one. The airport booking offer is £3; the same offer applies to non-airport pre-bookings over £50. Local and short-notice requests are subject to availability. For other bookings, check the price with the office. Give the relevant child and seat details and confirm suitability, the number of seats and the total charge before booking.
No. Free arrivals meet-and-greet does not mean unlimited free waiting. It is offered with flight tracking for airport-to-home and airport-to-university journeys. Confirm the applicable waiting terms and any airport parking or access charges with the office before booking.
