YOUR SCHOOL JOURNEY
We arrange school transport from KT7 for selected days, mornings or afternoons, one-way journeys and other agreed patterns. A parent can accompany the child, continue onward or be dropped off first when agreed.

A CLEAR PLAN
The office agrees a child-specific plan with the authorised booker and, where relevant, the school or commissioner.
Tell us what helps your child communicate and travel comfortably, including sensory, mobility, seating and support needs. Agree who accompanies them, emergency and backup contacts, and how changed instructions will be verified. We record only information needed for safe travel. KB Cars is registered with the ICO; our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.
Name the authorised adult or organisation receiving your child, and agree what happens if nobody is there or your child is missing or distressed. A PIN can help with identification, but neither a PIN nor tracking access authorises a different handover.
The office agrees how delays and replacements are handled. If a replacement is needed, we arrange a suitable approved driver, inform the parent and brief the driver on the journey and handover plan. Your child remains supervised if an authorised recipient is unavailable.
SUPPORT THAT FITS
A passenger assistant can help with boarding, communication, supervision and the agreed handover while the driver concentrates on driving. You can provide an assistant or ask KB to source one; we agree their responsibilities and suitability for the journey. An assistant needs a passenger seat.
Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags can be arranged without charge; tell the office what help is needed. A separate escort inside a building is assessed for the task, with any charge agreed in advance. Personal care, medication, weight-bearing transfers or specialist equipment need an appropriate individual plan, competence and practical arrangements before acceptance.
KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so discuss safe boarding and seating with the office. You can also request the same driver; continuity is agreed for the journey, with a suitable approved replacement arranged if needed.
FAMILIES AND COMMISSIONERS
We arrange school transport for families and welcome school or council commission enquiries. Drivers assigned to our school service complete KB's school-transport induction and office approval, with a briefing on the agreed journey and handover plan.
Our office is available 24 hours a day to help with arrangements. An app is not required to contact us.

Yes. We can discuss mornings, afternoons, selected weekdays, term-time, occasional cover and one-off journeys, including clubs and exams. Tell us the pattern you need so the office can agree the arrangement and quote.
An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm a booking. KB confirms an accepted booking by SMS and/or email.
The authorised booker or designated contact can request an absence or changed finish time through the agreed office or app route. Prior-day notice is encouraged and fees may apply under the agreed terms.
A receipt or acknowledgment is not acceptance: wait for confirmation of the actual change. For a time-critical request, call the office if your message has not been confirmed. If no authorised recipient is available, the plan provides for safe supervision and escalation.
Yes, discuss the proposed collection with the office. Thames Ditton station is on Station Road, Thames Ditton, KT7 0PA, but it is a landmark rather than an agreed school pickup point.
Give the actual address or entrance and any walking or access needs. We will agree a safe, workable collection point; the station address does not establish permission to stop there.
You can bring your own suitable seat or ask KB to arrange one in advance, subject to availability and suitability. Tell the office your child's relevant height, weight and seating needs so the arrangement and any charge can be confirmed.
