TRAVEL THAT FITS YOUR WORKING DAY

One pickup or a shared staff journey

KB Cars arranges pre-booked journeys from SW11 to work, including regular shifts, night travel and cover when rosters change. Colleagues can share a pickup or be collected from separate addresses, with the route and vehicle agreed with our office.

We can also discuss office and client journeys, meetings and multiple stops. A six-passenger vehicle is a group option; passenger numbers and luggage need to be considered together. Ask the office about seven- or eight-plus passenger vehicles and any assistance you need.

PLAN YOUR STAFF JOURNEY

Agree the details that make the shift work

Our office can help coordinate the outward trip, travelling group and return.

Set the outward journey

Give the full SW11 collection address and work destination, the dates and shift start, and your required arrival time. Include the proposed entrance or meeting point.

Plan for the group

Give each passenger and collection address, your preferred order and the coordinator authorised to request changes. Mention luggage, vehicle preferences and assistance needs.

Choose a return

Agree a pickup time, arrange a separate return, or contact the office when the group is ready. If the roster changes, the booker or authorised coordinator can request a change; it takes effect when the office accepts it and sends confirmation.

When the finish time can move Calling when ready means the office arranges a car subject to availability, without an immediate pickup guarantee. Alternatively, reserve a driver to wait under agreed chargeable waiting terms, or book an approximate return separately and contact the office if delayed.

PAYMENT AND LOCAL COLLECTION

Pay your way and identify the pickup

An ordinary booking can be paid by card or cash as agreed, including while a business-account application is considered. Employers can ask the office to review an account and agree authorised bookers, passenger communications and billing terms. Account approval is separate from journey confirmation; monthly billing and credit terms are agreed on approval.

For a pickup near Clapham Junction station, identify the proposed entrance or meeting point as well as the address: Clapham Junction station, St John's Hill, Clapham, Greater London, SW11 2QP. The address helps identify the station, but does not give permission to enter or stop. The office and passenger can agree a safe, lawful alternative if the proposed point cannot be used.

GOOD TO KNOW

Staff transport from SW11: your questions

Practical answers for shared journeys, changing shifts and assistance.

Can colleagues join from different SW11 addresses?

Yes. Give the office each collection address, your preferred order and any proposed meeting points. If someone needs a different arrangement, we can review the route and vehicle together and agree safe, accessible collection points.

Who can change a shift booking?

The booker or designated authorised coordinator can request changes to times, addresses, stops, passengers or vehicle needs. A request remains pending until the office accepts the change and sends confirmation, including any revised charge; one roster message does not automatically change every journey. For a time-critical change, seek acknowledgement and call the office if your message has not been confirmed.

What if the finishing time is uncertain?

You can call when the group is ready, reserve a driver to wait, or arrange an approximate return as a separate booking. A ready-call is subject to availability; reserved waiting is chargeable under agreed terms, and delay or changes to an approximate return can affect cost. A separate return does not automatically retain the outward car.

Can you plan for walking or entry needs?

Yes. Tell the office about limited walking tolerance, entry needs, bags or an accompanying carer so we can discuss a suitable arrangement. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; it helps to discuss this in advance. An escort inside a building is a separate arrangement, with any cost agreed for the actual help needed.
