WORK TRAVEL THAT FITS

A practical arrangement for your working day

KB Cars arranges regular journeys from SW17 to work, including night shifts, changing rosters and collections from several staff addresses. We can also discuss office or client journeys, meetings and extra stops, with a return suited to your plans.

Our office can agree the vehicle and quote for the actual journey and any extras. A business account is not needed for an ordinary card or cash booking. If account billing would help, ask the office about approval and agreed terms. No app installation is required.

PLAN THE JOURNEY

From SW17 collection to return

Agree the pickup, shift pattern and return so the office can plan a workable arrangement.

Identify the collection and work entrance

Give the full SW17 pickup address, work destination and intended entrance or meeting point. Tooting Rail Station is on London Road, SW17 9JR; Tooting Bec Underground Station is on Balham High Road, SW17 9AH. These identify different places, not permission to stop.

Set the shift and passenger order

Share the dates and shift or required arrival times. For shared journeys, give each pickup address, the passenger count and preferred order, along with any extra stops.

Agree the return and changes

Tell us the return plan and who is authorised to request roster changes. Agree how urgent exceptions will be acknowledged; if a time-critical message has not been acknowledged, call the office. A repeating schedule does not update itself, and receipt of a request is not acceptance.

If the finish time is uncertain The office can compare booking when ready, reserving a driver to wait, or arranging a separate approximate return. Tell us the likely finish time so we can discuss availability and any applicable waiting or change charges.

PICKUP AND VEHICLE

Choose a workable meeting point and vehicle

Give the street, building and entrance rather than only a station or estate name. If a door is private, closed or inaccessible, the office and passenger can agree a lawful, workable alternative. Share gate codes privately in the booking conversation and remain reachable near collection. KB Cars is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); our Privacy Notice explains how we handle booking information.

Tell us the passenger and suitcase counts, sizes and any pushchairs, folded wheelchairs or bulky items. We consider the combined load and passenger layout: an estate may help with extra luggage, and a six-passenger vehicle is an option for a group. Ask the office about seven- or eight-plus-passenger vehicles.

Tell us about any assistance needed. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; advance notice helps us coordinate suitable help. If an escort inside a building is needed, we can discuss the task and any cost. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions about SW17 work journeys

Choose how to manage changes, returns and payment for your arrangement.

Can the roster change after we agree the journeys?

Yes. The booker or designated authorised contact can ask the office to change times, addresses, stops, passengers or vehicle details. The office must accept and confirm the revised arrangement and any changed charge; acknowledging the request alone does not change the booking.

What if a shift finishes later than expected?

You can book when ready, reserve waiting, or arrange a separate approximate return. Booking when ready is subject to availability; reserved waiting is chargeable under agreed terms. For a separate return, contact the office if delayed: waiting or changes may affect the cost, and the outward driver or vehicle is not automatically retained.

Can my employer arrange payment?

Yes. Ordinary card or cash bookings are available, or an employer can ask about account billing. The office must accept the account first and agree authorised bookers, billing details and terms; an application does not automatically provide credit. Monthly billing is offered with the cycle and credit terms agreed at approval.

What if the collection point is closed or hard to reach?

The office and passenger can agree a lawful, workable alternative. Explain the entrance and access issue, including any difficulty walking to another point, and remain reachable near collection. A station name or landmark does not itself give permission to enter or stop.

When is my work journey confirmed?

KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email. An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm a car; the office will discuss the journey and any agreed extras before confirmation.
