WORK TRAVEL THAT FITS

A plan for your working days

Whether you are arranging your own journey or travel for a team, KB Cars can plan regular pickups from SW19 to work, including nights, several staff addresses and cover for changing shifts. Our office can discuss the right vehicle, pickup order and arrival target for your group.

We quote for the actual journeys and dates, including the vehicle and any agreed extras. Ordinary card or cash bookings are available; an employer can also ask about an account, subject to office approval.

PLAN YOUR JOURNEYS

Make the shift plan clear

Share the pattern with our office so we can discuss the arrangements and quote.

Set addresses and times

Give the full SW19 collection address, work destination, first pickup time and required arrival time. Include any extra stops and dates when the pattern differs.

Plan pickups and assistance

For a group, give each pickup address, passenger count and preferred collection order. Mention luggage, walking or entry needs so we can discuss a suitable vehicle and meeting points.

Agree who coordinates changes

Name the booker or authorised coordinator and tell us about roster exceptions. One message does not automatically change every accepted journey; the office must accept and confirm material changes.

Choose your return For a known finish, request a return at an agreed time. If the shift might overrun, contact the office when ready for a car subject to availability, or arrange for the driver to wait under the agreed chargeable waiting terms. Alternatively, book a separate approximate return and contact the office if delayed; waiting or changes may affect the cost.

SW19 COLLECTION POINTS

Identify the right meeting point

For a station pickup, distinguish Wimbledon Rail Station on The Broadway from Haydons Road Rail Station on Haydons Road, and tell us the entrance or nearby address you want to use. A station name does not give permission to enter or stop: the office and driver need a safe, lawful meeting point.

If a proposed point is difficult to reach, tell the office about your walking or entry needs so we can discuss a workable alternative. Let us know about any restrictions you expect and stay reachable in case the meeting point needs coordinating.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions about SW19 work travel

Practical answers for staff and the people arranging their journeys.

Who can change an accepted journey?

The booker or a designated authorised contact can request a change to the time, address, stops, passengers or vehicle. The office must accept and confirm the change and any revised charge; acknowledging a request is not the same as accepting it. Paying the fare or travelling as a passenger does not automatically give authority to make changes.

For an urgent change, call the office if your message has not been acknowledged. A repeating schedule does not mean that every journey has changed after one request.

Can an employer arrange journeys for staff?

Yes. An employer can arrange ordinary card or cash bookings or ask the office to review a business account. Account billing is available only after the office accepts the account and agrees authorised bookers, passenger communications and terms; applying does not give automatic credit.

Monthly billing is offered with the cycle and credit terms agreed at approval. Account jobs receive operational priority and a contact, without a promise of immediate arrival.

What help can I arrange for a passenger?

Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged with the office in advance without charge. Tell us about walking tolerance, entry needs, bags or a folding wheelchair so we can discuss the journey and suitable help.

An optional escort inside a building is agreed separately, including any cost. Clinical care and weight-bearing lifting are not assumed. KB Cars does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so a folding chair travels as luggage rather than with the passenger seated in it.

When is my work journey confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed when KB Cars sends confirmation by SMS and/or email. An enquiry, quote or payment attempt alone does not confirm a car.
