Pre-book a car from Purley, Riddlesdown or elsewhere in CR8 to your train. Request a quote based on your journey and vehicle needs; our 24-hour office can help plan your station arrival.
YOUR STATION ARRIVAL
Set a station-arrival target before your train departs, allowing time to enter the station, reach your platform and make any onward connection.
London Paddington is on Praed Street. Network Rail lists the APCOA car-park entrance on Bishops Bridge Road and a separate rank approach. Its drop-off guidance says waiting is not permitted, so give the office your requested station-arrival time when arranging the journey.
A staffed assistance drop-off is listed above platform 12. If you need railway assistance inside Paddington, arrange it with your train operator, preferably in advance, and allow time to reach your departure facilities.
Connecting to Heathrow? Heathrow Express and Elizabeth line services connect Paddington with Heathrow. Check the operator’s service details for your travel date and allow time to move through the station.
YOUR CR8 STARTING POINT
CR8 includes Purley and Riddlesdown, which have distinct rail stations: Purley Rail Station is on Station Approach, Whytecliffe Road, while Riddlesdown Rail Station is on Lower Barn Road. Which is convenient depends on where you start.
A pre-booked car collects you from your CR8 address, avoiding the separate trip to a local station and changes with your luggage. You will still need to make your way through Paddington to your departure area.
ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY
Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. An estate may suit extra luggage; for a group, a six-passenger vehicle is an option, and you can enquire about seven- or eight-plus passenger vehicles.
Tell us the number of passengers and the number and size of cases, cabin bags or unusual items. The office can help agree a suitable vehicle for the whole party and its combined luggage.
RETURN JOURNEY
Book a separate return from London Paddington to CR8 if you need one. Give the office your arriving train operator and service, origin, travel date and expected arrival time, along with a contact number. The office will agree a car meeting point separately.
If your train or timing changes, contact KB Cars on 020 8870 8888. Request the revised arrangement and obtain confirmation that the change has been accepted; do not assume the train is monitored automatically.

Your quote is based on the exact journey and the vehicle and extras you need. Send your full CR8 pickup address, destination, date and preferred pickup time, passenger and luggage details, plus any extra stop or vehicle preference.
Include your train service and departure time, and the time you would like to arrive at Paddington. An enquiry or quote is not a confirmed booking: KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.
Railway assistance inside Paddington is arranged separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. Tell the office about your mobility and boarding needs too.
KB can arrange guidance to the car and loading of ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair without charge; telling the office preferably in advance helps coordinate suitable assistance. Any extra escort inside a building is assessed separately and any cost agreed with you.
Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
