ARRIVING FOR YOUR TRAIN

Arriving at King's Cross for your train

Choose the right station and allow time between the car drop-off and your train's departure.

Check the station name

London King's Cross is on Euston Road, London N1 9AL. It is a separate railway station from St Pancras International, so check which station is named on your ticket.

Set a station-arrival target

Tell the office your rail operator and service, your departure time and the time you want to arrive at the station. Allow time to reach your departure area with your luggage. King's Cross has step-free access to all platforms; arrange railway assistance separately with your train operator.

A pickup from your KT10 address

A pre-booked car collects you from your Esher or Claygate address and takes you to King's Cross, so you do not need to reach a local station with your bags or change between services. You will still need to make your way to your departure area at King's Cross.

Esher station is on Station Road, KT10 8DY, while Claygate station is on The Parade, KT10 0PB. If a station rather than your home is your starting point, specify which one and agree a suitable collection point with the office.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose room for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, mini van and luxury options. An estate is worth discussing for extra luggage; for a group, a six-passenger vehicle is an option, while seven- or eight-plus passenger vehicles can be requested.

Tell us the number and size of cases and cabin bags, as well as any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. The office can help agree a vehicle for the whole party and its combined load.

Returning from London King's Cross

A return from London King's Cross to KT10 is arranged separately. Give the office your arriving train operator and service, origin, travel date and scheduled arrival time, along with a contact number. Agree the car meeting point with the office; the outward drop-off point is not automatically your return meeting point.

If your train is delayed or your plans or exit change, call the office on 020 8870 8888. Ask the office to confirm any revised collection arrangements; a change request is not itself acceptance.

GOOD TO KNOW

KT10 to King's Cross: your questions

The essentials for your car journey and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

Your quote reflects the actual journey, including its addresses, timing, vehicle and any agreed extras. Send your full pickup address, destination, date and time, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop so the office can quote for it.

An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm your booking. KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

What if I need help inside the station?

Arrange railway assistance inside King's Cross with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. Tell the KB Cars office about your mobility and boarding needs when arranging your journey.

KB can arrange guidance to the car and loading of ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair without charge. Discuss any additional escort inside a building with the office, which will agree the help and any cost. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so a folding chair travels as luggage where suitable.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
