BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

Arriving at London Bridge

Agree the street-side drop-off and leave time to reach your departure platform.

Agree the right street approach

London Bridge station’s published address covers Tooley Street and St Thomas Street. Bermondsey Street and Station Approach are separate approaches, so agree the street-side drop-off with the office and keep the details handy.

Allow time for the concourse

The street-level concourse connects to all platforms above. The Assisted Travel Lounge is beside the ticket office on the lower concourse. Arrange railway assistance separately with your train operator.

Plan your arrival, not just your departure

A car can collect you at your KT22 address, so you do not need to reach a local station with your luggage or change on the way to London Bridge. You will still need time to enter the station and reach your platform.

Tell the office your train service and departure time, and the time you want to arrive at the station. Allow for your luggage, walking and any assistance you need; the office can help plan the car around that target.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose room for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office; an estate may be useful when you have extra luggage. For a group, ask about a six-passenger vehicle or enquire about seven- or eight-passenger options. Executive, minivan and luxury options are also available to discuss. Choose for the whole party and its luggage, not just the number of seats.

Let us know the number and size of cases and cabin bags, and about pushchairs, folding wheelchairs or other bulky items. An accompanying carer also needs a seat.

Returning from London Bridge

For a separate return from London Bridge to KT22, tell the office your arriving train operator, service and origin, travel date, expected arrival time and contact number. Call 020 8870 8888 to agree the car meeting point separately; the outward drop-off is not automatically your return meeting point.

If your train is delayed or your exit changes, contact the office as soon as you can and agree any revised collection arrangements. A separate return does not automatically retain your outward driver or vehicle.

GOOD TO KNOW

Station transfer questions

The essentials for your car journey and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

Your quote reflects the exact journey, including the pickup address, destination, date and time, vehicle and any agreed extras. Tell us the passenger and luggage details and any extra stop, along with your train service and requested station-arrival time.

What if I need help inside the station?

Arrange assistance inside London Bridge separately with your train operator; booking a car does not arrange railway assistance. Tell our office about your mobility and boarding needs so we can plan the car journey with you.

We can arrange guidance to the car and loading of ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair without charge. If you need an additional escort inside a building, discuss the task and any cost with the office. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
