SM5 to London King's Cross private hire

Pre-book a car from Carshalton to King's Cross and choose a vehicle for your party and luggage. Request a quote based on your journey or call our 24-hour office on 020 8870 8888.

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

Plan your King's Cross arrival

Set a station-arrival target that leaves time for the onward train.

Choose the right station and arrival time

London King's Cross on Euston Road is a different railway station from St Pancras International. Give us your train service and the time you want to arrive at King's Cross, not just the train's departure time. Allow for entering the station and finding your departure area.

Plan station access and rail assistance

King's Cross has step-free access to all platforms and an Elphick Room mobility assistance lounge. Arrange any railway assistance separately with your train operator and allow time for it in your arrival plans.

YOUR SM5 PICKUP

Start from the right place in Carshalton

A pre-booked pickup from your SM5 address means you do not need to take your luggage to a local station before starting the car journey. Give the office your exact pickup address so the quote reflects your trip.

If your pickup is at a station, specify which one: Carshalton station is on North Street, while Carshalton Beeches is on Station Approach, Gordon Road. They are separate stations.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose for passengers and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. A six-passenger vehicle is a group option; seven- or eight-plus passenger vehicles can be requested through the office.

Tell us the number and size of cases and cabin bags, plus any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. We will consider the whole party and load together when arranging a suitable vehicle.

RETURN COLLECTION

Returning from King's Cross to SM5

Arrange the return separately with the office. Give your arriving train operator and service, its origin, date and scheduled arrival time, and a contact number. We will agree a suitable meeting point; a separate return does not automatically retain your outward driver or vehicle.

If your train is delayed or your plans change, call 020 8870 8888 to discuss the revised collection and obtain confirmation of any accepted change. Waiting or changes may affect the cost.

GOOD TO KNOW

Station transfer questions

The practical details for your car journey and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

Your quote reflects the exact journey, including its addresses, date and time, vehicle and any agreed extras. Send your full SM5 pickup address, destination, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop or return plan. KB Cars is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.

An enquiry, quote or payment alone is not a confirmed booking. KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

What if I need help inside the station?

Railway assistance is arranged separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. Tell our office about your mobility needs when arranging the journey so we can discuss the car and any help needed.

Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge. An additional escort inside a building is assessed separately, with any cost agreed in advance. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so please discuss boarding and luggage needs with the office.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
