PRE-BOOKED PRIVATE HIRE

SW14 to London Paddington

Travel from Mortlake or East Sheen to Paddington with a pickup at your address. Get a quote based on your journey and plan your arrival around your train with our 24-hour office.

PLANNING YOUR DEPARTURE

Arriving at London Paddington

Choose a station-arrival target before your train departs, allowing time to reach your departure area.

Plan the road approach

London Paddington is at Praed Street, London W2 1HQ. The APCOA car-park entrance is on Bishops Bridge Road; station guidance says waiting is not permitted at the drop-off. Agree your arrival target with the office rather than relying on roadside waiting.

Plan station assistance

A staffed assistance drop-off point is above platform 12. Arrange railway assistance with your train operator, preferably in advance, and tell KB Cars about any help you need for the car journey.

VEHICLE CHOICE

Space for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office; an estate is worth considering for extra luggage. Executive, minivan and luxury options are also available to discuss. A six-passenger vehicle is an option; ask the office about seven or eight-plus passengers.

Tell us how many people are travelling and the number and size of cases and cabin bags, including any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. The office can help agree a suitable vehicle for the combined load.

YOUR JOURNEY AND CONNECTION

From your SW14 address to your onward train

A private-hire pickup starts at your agreed address rather than at Mortlake station on Sheen Lane. Give the office your exact pickup point in Mortlake or East Sheen so the journey can be planned from the right place.

If you are travelling onwards to Heathrow, Paddington has Heathrow Express and Elizabeth line connections. Allow time to reach your onward departure area; your rail journey is booked separately.

RETURN TO SW14

Book a separate return from Paddington

For a return to SW14, give the office your arriving train operator and service, origin, date and scheduled arrival time, plus a contact number. Call 020 8870 8888 to agree the car meeting point separately; a return does not automatically retain your outward driver or vehicle.

If your train or plans change, the booker or authorised contact should contact the office and ask whether the revised arrangement has been accepted. Waiting or an accepted change may affect the cost.

GOOD TO KNOW

SW14 to Paddington transfer FAQs

The essentials for your car booking and onward rail journey.

What do you need for a quote?

The quote reflects your exact journey. Send your full pickup address and destination, date and time, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop or vehicle preference.

An enquiry, quote or payment alone is not a confirmed booking. KB confirms an accepted booking by SMS and/or email.

What if I need help inside the station?

Railway assistance is arranged separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. Tell the office about your mobility and boarding needs for the car as well.

KB can arrange guidance to the car and loading of ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair without charge. Let the office know in advance where possible so suitable help can be arranged. An additional escort inside a building is assessed separately, with any cost agreed.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
