PRE-BOOKED PRIVATE HIRE

SW15 to London King's Cross private hire

Travel from your Putney or Roehampton address to King's Cross and plan your arrival around your train. Request a quote based on your journey and vehicle; our office is available 24 hours a day.

YOUR OUTWARD JOURNEY

Arrive ready for your train

Choose the right station and allow time between the car drop-off and your departure.

King's Cross, not St Pancras

London King's Cross is on Euston Road, London N1 9AL, and is separate from St Pancras International. Check your rail booking and specify King's Cross when requesting the car.

Set your station-arrival target

Share your train operator, service and departure time, along with the time you want to arrive at the station. Allow for the walk to your departure area and any assistance you need; your station-arrival target is not the train departure time. King's Cross has a family lounge on the main concourse and the Elphick Room mobility assistance lounge.

YOUR SW15 PICKUP

Start at your own address

A pre-booked car collects you at your address in Putney or Roehampton, so you do not need to start the journey at a local station with your luggage. You will still need to make your way inside King's Cross to your departure area.

Putney rail station is on High Street, while East Putney Underground station is on Upper Richmond Road. If your pickup is near either, give the office the exact address and a practical collection point rather than just the station name.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose space for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. A six-passenger vehicle is an option; for seven or more passengers, enquire with the office.

Tell us how many people are travelling and the number and size of cases and cabin bags, plus any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. The office can help choose a vehicle for the combined party and load.

COMING HOME

Arrange a separate return from King's Cross

For a return to SW15, give the office your arriving train operator, service and origin, travel date and expected arrival time, plus a contact number. Agree the car meeting point separately; a return does not automatically retain your outward driver or vehicle.

If your train or plans change, contact KB Cars on 020 8870 8888 to discuss the revised arrangement and obtain confirmation of any accepted change. Applicable waiting or changes can affect the cost.

GOOD TO KNOW

Station transfer questions

The practical details for your car and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

Your quote reflects the specific journey, including the pickup address, date and time, vehicle and any agreed extras. Send your full pickup address and destination, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time; mention any extra stop.

An enquiry, quote or payment alone is not a confirmed booking. KB confirms an accepted booking by SMS and/or email.

What if I need help inside the station?

Arrange railway assistance separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. King's Cross is listed as having step-free access to all platforms, and its station guide has assistance and lift information.

Tell the office about your mobility and boarding needs. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge. An optional additional escort inside a building is assessed separately and may carry an agreed charge. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
