AT LONDON BRIDGE

Arriving for your train

Agree your station drop-off and allow time to reach your departure area.

Allow for the station concourse

London Bridge’s street-level concourse connects to all platforms, which are above the main entrance level. After your car arrives, you will still need time to reach the correct departure area.

Agree the station side

London Bridge has distinct approaches, including Tooley Street, Bermondsey Street and Station Approach. Ask the office which station-side arrangement applies to your journey; do not assume the approaches are interchangeable.

PLAN YOUR DEPARTURE

Set a station arrival target

Tell us your train service and the time you want to arrive at London Bridge, not just the train’s departure time. Allow for getting from the car through the station to your departure area, and discuss your timing with the office.

Your car can collect from your TW12 address, so you do not first have to reach Hampton (London) station. That station is on Ashley Road, Hampton, TW12 2HU; it is distinct from Hampton Court and Hampton Wick.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose for passengers and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office; an estate may be useful for extra luggage. You can also ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. A six-passenger vehicle is available; ask the office about seven- or eight-plus-passenger arrangements. The right choice depends on the whole party and its luggage together.

Tell us how many cases and cabin bags you have, their sizes, and whether you are bringing a pushchair, folding wheelchair or other unusual item. An accompanying carer needs a seat too.

RETURN JOURNEYS

Returning from London Bridge to TW12

Arrange your return collection separately. Give the office your arriving train operator and service, its origin, the travel date and scheduled arrival time, plus a contact number. The office will agree the car meeting point with you; it is not automatically the outward drop-off point.

If your train is delayed or your plans or exit change, call 020 8870 8888. Ask the office to accept and confirm any revised arrangement; acknowledging your request does not mean the change has been accepted. Waiting may be chargeable under the applicable terms.

GOOD TO KNOW

Station transfer questions

Practical answers for your journey and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

Your quote reflects the particular journey, including the pickup address, date and time, vehicle and any agreed extras. Send your full pickup address and destination, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time; mention any extra stop.

An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm a car. KB confirms an accepted booking by SMS and/or email.

What if I need help inside the station?

Arrange railway assistance separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. At London Bridge, the Assisted Travel Lounge is beside the ticket office on the lower concourse.

Tell the office about your mobility and boarding needs. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; any additional escort inside a building is assessed separately, with any cost agreed. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
