VEHICLE CHOICE

Room for your party and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. A six-passenger vehicle is a group option; seven- and eight-plus-passenger vehicles can also be requested.

Tell us how many people are travelling and the number and sizes of cases, cabin bags or other items, including pushchairs or folding wheelchairs. The office can help agree a suitable vehicle for the combined party and load.

YOUR JOURNEY

From your W13 pickup to your train

A private hire pickup takes you from your chosen W13 address to Waterloo without first reaching a local station or carrying luggage through an interchange. You will still need to make your way inside Waterloo to your departure area.

Give the office your exact pickup address rather than just W13. If you are starting at West Ealing Rail Station, identify it as your pickup: it is on Manor Road, W13 0LJ. Tell us your train departure and the time you need to arrive at Waterloo, which may be earlier than departure.

AT WATERLOO

Plan your arrival at Waterloo

Allow time between your car’s arrival and your train departure for your route through the station and any assistance you have arranged.

Step-free routes and Exit 2

Waterloo has step-free access from the main concourse to the platforms, and exits 1, 2 and 3 are step-free routes. Exit 2 has lift access towards Waterloo Road and the Jubilee line.

Passenger Assistance meeting point

Passenger Assistance meets on the main concourse opposite platform 12. Arrange railway assistance with your train operator, then tell KB Cars the service and station-arrival target requested by the operator.

RETURN JOURNEY

Arrange a separate return to W13

For a return from London Waterloo to W13, give the office your arriving train operator and service, date and expected arrival time, plus a contact number. Agree the car meeting point separately; it is not automatically the Passenger Assistance point.

If your train is delayed or your plans change, call the 24-hour office on 020 8870 8888 to discuss the arrangements and confirm any accepted change. A separate return does not automatically reserve the same driver or vehicle.

GOOD TO KNOW

Station transfer questions

The essentials for your car journey and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

Your quote is based on the actual journey and vehicle you need. Send your full pickup address, destination, date and time, passenger and luggage details, train operator and service, and your requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop or vehicle preference.

An enquiry or quote is not a confirmed booking. KB Cars confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

What if I need help inside the station?

Arrange Passenger Assistance inside Waterloo separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. Tell the KB Cars office about your mobility and boarding needs too, so the car journey can be planned appropriately.

When arranged in advance, guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair are free. This does not limit assistance required by law. If you need an additional escort inside a building, discuss the task and any cost with the office. KB Cars does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles; a folding chair can travel as luggage where suitable.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
