Practical answers for your airport departure.
Which car should I book for several suitcases?
Choose the vehicle for passengers and luggage together. An estate offers more luggage space than a saloon; an MPV offers more passenger seats, but using those seats can reduce luggage space. Tell us the number and sizes of large cases and cabin bags, as well as any pushchair or unusual items, so the office can confirm a suitable arrangement.
Can I request a child seat for the airport journey?
Yes. You can bring your own suitable seat or ask KB to arrange one in advance, subject to availability and suitability. The options are a rear-facing baby seat for birth to 12 months, a child seat for 9 months to 4 years, or a booster for 4 to 12 years.
Tell the office your child’s age and relevant height, weight and seat needs, and include the seat and any pushchair in your luggage requirements. Agree the seat arrangement and its charge before travel.
What if I need to cancel my transfer?
Cancellation is free before your driver is dispatched. A charge applies after dispatch, and the full fare applies once the driver has arrived at your pickup. Contact the office as soon as your plans change.
Which terminal should I put on the booking?
Use the terminal shown by your airline for your particular flight. Heathrow passenger flights use Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5; your return flight may use a different terminal.
Is pickup from my home or a station?
Your transfer starts at the address you book, including your home in Earlsfield. Earlsfield station is a public transport alternative, not the default private-hire pickup point.
Can I arrange help with luggage or mobility?
Yes. Tell the office what help you need; guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge. Discuss passenger boarding, any accompanying carer and the space needed for the chair and other bags. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles for travel seated in a wheelchair.
If you need an escort inside a building, the office can discuss the task and agree any charge. For assistance at Heathrow, arrange it through your airline or agent at least 48 hours before flying.
