YOUR HEATHROW QUOTE

A fixed quote for your Heathrow departure

Your quote reflects your East Sheen pickup address, travel date and time, Heathrow terminal, passengers, luggage and vehicle choice. Heathrow’s terminal drop-off charge is included at the airport’s current rate, rather than added afterwards.

Our office is available 24 hours a day to help with your arrangements. An enquiry or quote is not a confirmed booking: KB Cars confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

Plan your East Sheen departure

A little planning helps match your home pickup to your flight and terminal.

Give your home pickup address

East Sheen Library on Sheen Lane, London, SW14 8LP is a local reference, not a default pickup point. Give your full home address and any access details to the office.

Work back from your airport arrival

Tell us your flight and the airport-arrival time recommended by your airline. Heathrow recommends arriving three hours before an international flight or two hours before a domestic or Europe flight; check your airline’s requirements. Allow the drive time separately.

Check the Heathrow terminal

Heathrow has passenger Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. Check your flight with your airline or the terminal finder, then provide the terminal and flight number. KB Cars is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.

COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS

Public transport or a home pickup?

Mortlake station is on Sheen Lane, Mortlake, SW14 8LN. It can be an alternative starting point for a public-transport journey, but it is not the default pickup for your private hire transfer.

Consider station access

National Rail classifies Mortlake as step-free category B1. Station guidance describes interchange between platforms by footbridge or the road level crossing; check the directions and current assistance information for your journey.

Plan the whole journey

Check public-transport connections for your travel date and Heathrow terminal, including the journey from your home to the station. Consider any walking, changes and luggage you will need to manage.

Choose a home pickup A pre-booked private hire transfer starts at your booked East Sheen address and takes you to your terminal, avoiding the initial station journey. Tell the office about luggage or access needs so it can arrange a suitable vehicle.

GOOD TO KNOW

East Sheen to Heathrow: your questions answered

Practical answers for planning your departure.

How long does the drive from East Sheen to Heathrow take?

Allow around 30–50 minutes for the drive from Mortlake or East Sheen to Heathrow. Early-morning journeys (04:00–06:30, UK local time) often take around 30–35 minutes. Driving time only. Your address, terminal and traffic affect the journey; busy periods can take longer. Allow your airline’s check-in time separately. Estimates reviewed by KB Cars owner (5 years’ experience), 16 October 2026.

Which car should I book for several suitcases?

Choose for passengers and bags together. An estate offers more luggage space than a saloon; an MPV provides more passenger seats, but using those seats can reduce luggage space. Tell the office how many large cases and cabin bags you have, their sizes, and whether you are bringing a pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual items.

Can I request a child seat for the airport journey?

Yes. You can bring your own suitable seat or ask KB Cars to arrange one in advance, subject to availability and suitability. Give the office the child’s age and relevant height, weight and seat requirements; include the seat and any pushchair in your space needs. Agree the arrangement and any charge before travel.

What if I need to cancel my transfer?

Cancellation is free before your driver is dispatched. A charge applies after dispatch, up to the full fare once the driver has arrived at your pickup. Contact the office as soon as your plans change.

Which terminal should I put on the booking?

Use the terminal shown by your airline for your individual flight. Heathrow passenger flights use Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5; your return flight may use a different terminal.

Is pickup from my home or a station?

Your transfer starts at your booked address, including your East Sheen home if that is where you arrange pickup. Mortlake station is an alternative starting point for public transport, not a default private hire pickup.

Can I arrange help with luggage or mobility?

Yes. Tell the office what help you need so it can arrange a suitable driver. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; an additional escort inside a building is assessed separately and any cost agreed. KB Cars does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles for travel seated in a wheelchair.

For assistance at Heathrow, arrange it through your airline or travel agent at least 48 hours before flying.
