YOUR QUOTE

A quote for your journey

Your quote reflects your pickup address, travel date and time, vehicle and any agreed extras. Tell us your flight details, passenger count and luggage so we can discuss the right arrangement. KB Cars is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.

Southend Airport access charges are separate from the KB Cars fare. Ask the office about the charges and arrangements for your booking.

PLAN YOUR DEPARTURE

Plan your Kingston departure

A little planning helps your driver collect you at the right place and gets your airport arrival target into the booking.

Choose your pickup point

Give your full Kingston address and postcode, the entrance and any relevant access details. Let the office know about extra stops or a return journey when you enquire.

Set your airport arrival target

Give your flight number and the time you want to reach Southend Airport so the office can help plan your pickup. Express Pick-up and Drop-off is a charged facility opposite the terminal.

Choose room for your party

Consider passengers and luggage together. A saloon suits a lighter load; an estate offers more luggage space, while an MPV is an option for a larger party. Discuss the complete load with the office.

Compare the train with a door-to-terminal car Southend Airport station is opposite the terminal, linked by a covered walkway. The airport names London Liverpool Street and Stratford as London rail connections; from Kingston, you still need to plan the local leg and check services for your travel date. Southend Central is not the terminal station. A pre-booked car starts at your address instead.

GOOD TO KNOW

Kingston to Southend transfer questions

Useful answers before you book your departure.

Can I be picked up from my address?

Yes. Your pre-booked private hire journey starts at the address you give us, rather than at a station. Provide the full address and postcode, entrance and any additional stops.

What luggage details should I provide?

Tell us the number of passengers and describe all their luggage together, including suitcase and cabin-bag counts and sizes, pushchairs, folded wheelchairs and unusual items. The vehicle must suit the complete party and load, not just the number of seats.

When is my booking confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed when KB Cars sends confirmation by SMS and/or email. An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm a car.

Can I arrange help with luggage or a child seat?

Yes. Tell the office what help you need. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; an additional escort inside a building is assessed separately and any cost agreed. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

You can bring your own suitable child seat or ask KB to arrange one in advance, subject to availability and suitability. Give the office the child's age, relevant height and weight, and seat requirements, and ask about the charge.
