Planning an early-morning airport transfer Start with your flight

Work back from your airline’s airport arrival deadline. Our 24-hour office can help agree a pickup and suitable vehicle, with a quote based on your journey and requirements.

Before you travel

Start with the airline’s arrival deadline

Check when your airline asks you to arrive at the departure airport, allowing for its check-in and security requirements. Work back from that target when discussing your pickup with the office.

The airport and terminal matter as much as the collection address: make sure the booking is for the right departure terminal. Traffic and road conditions can change, so we do not promise a fixed journey time.

Your departure plan

Make the pickup clear

Give the office enough detail to agree the journey, vehicle and a way to reach you. KB Cars is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.

Set your airport target

Have your departure date, airport, terminal, airline and flight number ready, along with the time your airline asks you to arrive. Discuss a practical pickup time with the office.

Choose the right arrangement

Give the full collection address, passenger count and numbers and sizes of bags, including unusual items. Mention extra stops, a return, vehicle preferences and any assistance needs. You can bring your own suitable child seat or ask the office to arrange one; give the relevant child and seat details so suitability and availability can be confirmed.

Keep a contact fallback

Give a reachable lead contact, including international contact arrangements if needed. If you cannot find your driver, contact the office for help. The booker or authorised contact should request material changes from the office. For a time-critical change, seek acknowledgment and call the office if you have not received it. A request or acknowledgment of receipt is not acceptance: the office will confirm an accepted change and any revised charge.

Not sure about your return? The office can help you compare booking when ready, reserving the driver to wait or arranging a separate approximate return. See the return question below for the practical differences.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions before an early departure

Confirmation, assistance and return choices explained.

When is my airport transfer confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed when KB sends confirmation by SMS and/or email. An enquiry asks the office to assess the arrangement, and a quote sets out its price and scope; an enquiry, quote or payment attempt alone does not confirm a car.

Can you help if I have bags or limited walking tolerance?

Yes. Tell the office what help you need so it can arrange a suitable driver. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; advance notice helps coordination and does not remove any required disability assistance.

If you need an escort inside a building, agree the task and any cost separately. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles and does not promise weight-bearing lifting.

What if I do not know when I will be ready for the return?

You can contact KB when ready, reserve the driver to wait, or agree a separate approximate return. Booking when ready is subject to availability and does not guarantee immediate collection. Reserved waiting is chargeable under the agreed terms.

For a separate approximate return, contact the office if you are delayed; applicable waiting or changes can affect the cost. A separate return does not automatically retain the outward driver or vehicle.

Can I ask about an early transfer at short notice?

Yes. Enquiries are welcome from any location, including at short notice. Availability, particularly outside London, must be confirmed; send your journey details and a reachable contact so the office can discuss what it can arrange.
