GROUP CELEBRATIONS

Hen and stag transport Out together, home sorted

Arrange private hire to your celebration and a practical return. Our 24-hour office can quote for your journey, group size and chosen arrangement, including multiple stops or an agreed wait.

ARRIVAL AND RETURN

Make a plan for the whole celebration

Book a one-way journey, arrange separate returns to different addresses, or discuss a driver waiting or hourly hire. One organiser can coordinate several vehicles and destinations with our office, whether everyone travels together or splits up after the event.

Your enquiry and quote are not a confirmed booking. The booking is confirmed when KB Cars sends confirmation by SMS and/or email. If plans change or the event overruns, contact the office to agree a change rather than assuming a message has changed the booking.

VEHICLES FOR YOUR GROUP

Find the right group arrangement

A six-passenger vehicle is our standard group option, available around the clock. Tell us how many people are travelling together and the number and sizes of their bags, including any bulky items, so the office can agree a suitable vehicle.

For seven or eight-plus passengers, ask the office about a larger vehicle or additional vehicles. We can also discuss collections from several addresses and different destinations on the way home.

GROUP JOURNEY OPTIONS

Choose how to get home

Start with the time you need to arrive, then choose a return that suits the group's plans.

Separate return or book when ready

Agree an approximate return pickup in advance, or contact the office when you are ready to leave. A car booked when ready is subject to availability, with no guarantee of immediate collection. A separate return does not automatically keep your outward driver or vehicle.

Wait and return

Reserve the driver to wait and take the group home. Waiting is chargeable under the agreed terms; ask the office to include the arrangement in your quote.

Hourly hire

Reserve a car and driver for an agreed period, with an itinerary or flexible stops. The quote sets out the reserved time, included mileage and agreed extras; waiting within that paid time is included. Ask the office about extensions.

VENUE AND COLLECTION

Choose a workable meeting point

A party, ceremony, reception or ticketed evening may use a different building, entrance or collection point. Give the office the exact site and any organiser's meeting instructions, along with each address the group needs.

The driver needs a lawful pickup point. Closures or restricted approaches may mean meeting elsewhere; if anyone cannot manage a longer walk, tell the office so we can discuss a workable alternative.

GOOD TO KNOW

Hen and stag journey questions

Practical answers for the organiser and the group.

What should I include in the enquiry?

Send the exact collection and event addresses, date and time, passenger and luggage details, and any stops or return destinations. Include your vehicle preference, assistance needs and the venue building, entrance or meeting instructions you have. This helps the office discuss a suitable arrangement and quote.

What if the event finishes later than planned?

Contact the office as soon as an overrun looks likely to discuss a new pickup time. A separate approximate return can incur applicable waiting or change costs; it does not retain the outward driver. Alternatively, arrange wait-and-return or hourly hire in advance, with waiting covered by the agreed terms.

How do we choose the pickup point?

Choose a proposed meeting place where the vehicle can collect the group lawfully. Temporary closures or restricted access may change it, and the nearest entrance may not suit everyone. Tell the office about limited walking tolerance or other access needs so we can agree a workable alternative.

Who can change the arrangements?

The booker or designated primary contact should request changes to times, stops, passengers or addresses. Receipt or acknowledgment of a request is not acceptance: the office must accept the change and confirm it, along with any revised charge. If a time-critical message has not been confirmed, call the office. Passengers can coordinate with their assigned driver during the journey, but must not make a new unrecorded booking directly with the driver.

Can we bring food or drink in the vehicle?

Food and drink need the driver's agreement. Appropriate cleaning or damage charges may apply on the agreed basis.

Plan transport with the office

For a single ordinary journey, use the separate journey quote option. The office helps plan groups and multiple vehicles.
