Sports-event transport Matches, races and more

Pre-book private hire to and from your event, with a return plan for an uncertain finish. Our 24-hour office can quote for your journey and help coordinate your group.

OUTWARD AND RETURN

Travel that fits your event plans

Book a one-way journey, a separate return, wait-and-return or hourly hire. We can arrange multiple addresses and discuss several vehicles and different return destinations with one organiser.

Our office can compare the options and quote for your addresses, timing, vehicle and agreed extras. Tell us your arrival deadline and preferred return plan so we can help make both legs work.

PLAN THE COLLECTION

Three decisions for event day

Agree how your group will meet its driver and what to do if the event runs late.

Choose your return

Contact the office when you are ready, reserve a driver to wait, or agree an approximate separate return. Ready-when-called collections depend on availability; waiting and changes are subject to agreed terms.

Agree a workable meeting point

The event entrance and the lawful collection point may not be the same. Tell us if anyone cannot walk far so we can discuss a workable alternative if restrictions or closures affect access.

Keep one contact reachable

For a group, nominate the booker or an authorised primary contact. If plans change, they can request an update from the office and let the passengers know the accepted arrangement.

SITE AND JOURNEY DETAILS

Help us find the right event and entrance

Give us the competition or event name, exact site and the entrance or ticketed meeting point you expect to use. Tell us whether the group will meet at one point afterwards or return to different addresses, and about any walking, luggage or equipment needs.

Gates, parking areas and road access can be restricted or changed for an event; a venue listing does not establish where a private-hire driver can stop. For a site outside London, share full addresses early so the office can discuss availability, positioning and any special terms.

GROUP TRAVEL

Choose room for your group

Six-passenger vehicles are our standard group option. Ask the office about seven or eight-plus passengers, additional vehicles or an hourly arrangement. Tell us how many people are travelling, the number and sizes of their bags, and about any unusual equipment so we can discuss a suitable vehicle.

GOOD TO KNOW

Sports-event travel questions

Practical answers for organising your journey and return.

Can I arrange the return before the finish time is known?

Yes. You can reserve a driver to wait, agree an approximate separate return, or contact the office when you are ready. A car booked when ready is subject to availability, not guaranteed immediately. Waiting is chargeable under the agreed terms. If you are delayed for a separate return, contact the office; waiting or changes may affect the cost. A separate return does not retain your outward driver or guarantee the same vehicle.

What should the organiser include in the enquiry?

Send the event name and exact site, collection and destination addresses, date and times, passenger count, luggage or equipment, arrival deadline and preferred return plan. Include an authorised contact who can approve changes. Short-notice enquiries are welcome; an enquiry or quote alone is not a confirmed booking. KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

Will the driver collect at the gate or venue exit?

Not automatically. Gates, ranks, parking areas and exits may be restricted, and temporary closures can change where a driver can stop lawfully. Agree a meeting place with the office and mention anyone who cannot manage a remote walk so a workable alternative can be discussed.

What if our event plan changes on the day?

The booker or designated primary contact should ask the office to change the time, stops, passengers or destination. The office checks availability and any revised charge; a request or acknowledgement of its receipt is not acceptance. The office confirms an accepted change. If a time-critical message has not been acknowledged, call the office. Telling the driver alone does not create a new, unrecorded booking.

Plan transport with the office

For a single ordinary journey, use the separate journey quote option. The office helps plan groups and multiple vehicles.
