STATION TRANSFERS

Richmond railway station transfers Departures and return pickups

Pre-book a private-hire journey to the station or a pickup after your train. Contact our 24-hour office for a quote based on your journey and vehicle needs; no app installation is required.

YOUR STATION JOURNEY

A car for your station journey

Richmond railway station is at The Quadrant, TW9 2NA. Book a private-hire journey to reach a departure, or arrange a separate pickup after your train to a home, hotel, airport or another destination.

Your quote reflects the addresses, direction, date and time, vehicle and agreed extras. For extra luggage, ask about an estate; for a group, a six-passenger vehicle is an option, with luggage considered alongside passengers. Ask the office about vehicles for seven or more. Tell us your passenger count, the number and sizes of your bags and any bulky items so we can help choose a suitable vehicle. A booking is confirmed when KB sends confirmation by SMS and/or email; an enquiry, quote or payment alone is not confirmation.

DEPARTURE OR RETURN

Choose the station leg you need

Plan your arrival at the station separately from a pickup after your train.

To Richmond for a departure

Tell us when you want to arrive at the station, not just when your train leaves. Allow time for reaching the platform and agree the station side or entrance that suits your journey.

From Richmond after your train

Give us your train’s origin, date and scheduled arrival, along with your destination and preferred exit. If the train or exit changes, contact the office to request a revised collection and wait for acceptance; call if a time-critical message has not been acknowledged.

Walking or access support

Tell us about limited walking, entry needs, bags or a folding wheelchair so we can discuss a suitable car and meeting point. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; an optional escort inside the station is discussed separately.

AT RICHMOND

Plan the station approach

Use the full name Richmond railway station and the address The Quadrant, TW9 2NA to identify the right stop. National Rail lists category A platform access, but this is not a guarantee that a lift is working or that a particular step-free route is available.

For a pickup, suggest an accessible meeting point at the side or exit you expect to use. The office will agree a safe, lawful place for the car to stop; a station rank, bay or forecourt is not automatically available for a pre-booked private-hire collection. If a proposed point is not accessible to you, discuss a workable alternative with us.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions about Richmond station transfers

Practical answers for departures, pickups and assistance.

How do I make sure we are booking the right station?

Give the full name Richmond railway station and The Quadrant, TW9 2NA. Include the date and planned arrival or departure time; for a pickup after a train, give its origin and scheduled arrival. If your itinerary names another Richmond stop, say so before the office confirms your journey.

Can the driver meet me at the station entrance?

We can agree a suitable meeting point with you, but a stop at the entrance is not automatic. Tell the office your expected exit or side and suggest a point you can access; the car must be able to stop there safely and lawfully. Keep your phone available so the office can help if you and the driver cannot find each other.

What should I do if my train is late?

Contact the office as soon as your train or exit changes and request a revised collection. Train checking can be discussed, but automatic monitoring is not promised. Wait for the office to accept and confirm the change, including any revised charge; if a time-critical message is not acknowledged, call the office. Applicable waiting or changes may affect the cost.

Can you help with limited walking or a folding wheelchair?

Yes. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge. Tell the office about your walking tolerance, entry needs, bags and any accompanying carer; advance details help us coordinate suitable assistance and a vehicle.

An optional escort inside the station is assessed separately and any cost agreed. Trained transfers need separate discussion. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so tell us if you need to travel seated in your wheelchair.

Does the car booking include my train ticket or railway assistance?

No. Arrange your rail ticket and any railway Passenger Assist separately with the railway. KB can discuss help to the car or an optional station escort, but that is not a substitute for railway assistance.
