PLAN YOUR ARRIVAL

Arrive ready for your train

Allow time between the car drop-off and your departure, especially if you need assistance or have luggage.

Set a station-arrival target

London Paddington is on Praed Street, London W2 1HQ. The car-park entrance is on Bishops Bridge Road and the rank has a separate approach; waiting is not permitted at the drop-off. Give our office the time you want to arrive at the station, allowing time to reach your departure area before your train leaves.

Plan station assistance

Paddington lists a staffed assistance drop-off on the deck above platform 12. Arrange railway assistance with your train operator, preferably in advance, and tell our office about your mobility needs so we can plan the car journey with you.

Start from your SE1 address

A pre-booked car collects you at your SE1 address, so you do not need to reach an Underground station with your luggage or change lines on the way. You will still need to make your way inside Paddington to your onward departure area.

Waterloo and London Bridge are distinct interchanges: tell us your precise collection address and confirm London Paddington as your destination. An enquiry or quote is not a confirmed car; KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, mini van and luxury options. Choose for the whole party and its luggage, not just the number of seats. Tell us how many cases and cabin bags you have, their sizes and any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item, so the office can agree a suitable arrangement.

Returning from London Paddington to SE1

Arrange your return collection separately with the office. Give us your arriving train operator or service, its origin, travel date and expected arrival time, along with a contact number. We will agree a meeting point with you; the outward drop-off is not automatically the return collection point.

If your train is delayed or your plans or exit change, call KB Cars on 020 8870 8888 to request a change. The revised arrangement needs to be agreed with the office.

GOOD TO KNOW

Your station transfer questions

The practical details for your car journey and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

The quote is based on your particular journey and vehicle needs. Send your full pickup address and destination, date and time, passenger numbers and luggage, plus your train service and requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop so the office can quote for the journey you need. KB Cars is registered with the ICO; our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.

What if I need help inside the station?

Railway assistance is separate from your car booking: arrange it with your train operator, preferably in advance. Tell our office about mobility needs and any accompanying carer when arranging the car.

KB can arrange guidance to the car and loading of ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair without charge. If you need an additional escort inside a building, discuss the task and any cost with the office. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
