KB CARS · STATION TRANSFERS
Pre-book a car from Balham or Clapham South to Waterloo, with a quote tailored to your journey. Our 24-hour office can help plan your arrival and vehicle.
BEFORE YOU TRAVEL
Plan enough time to get from your drop-off to the concourse and your train, including any assistance you need.
Waterloo has step-free access from the main concourse to its platforms, and exits 1, 2 and 3 offer step-free routes. Exit 2 also has lift access towards Waterloo Road and the Jubilee line.
Contact your train operator to arrange Passenger Assistance. The meeting point at Waterloo is on the main concourse opposite platform 12. Tell KB Cars your preferred station arrival time and any help you need with the car journey.
PLAN YOUR DEPARTURE
Your train departure time is not the same as your car arrival target. Decide when you need to reach Waterloo, allowing for the walk to your platform and any railway assistance, and share that target with the office when requesting your journey.
A pickup from your SW12 address avoids the separate journey to a local station with your bags. If using public transport instead, note that Balham Rail Station is on Balham Station Road, while Balham Underground Station is on Balham High Road; Clapham South is a separate Underground station on Balham Hill.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY
Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office; an estate is worth considering if you have extra luggage. You can also ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. A six-passenger vehicle is an option; ask the office about seven- or eight-plus-passenger vehicles.
Give the number and size of suitcases and cabin bags, plus any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. Passenger seating and luggage space need to work together; a particular vehicle model is not guaranteed. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so passengers cannot travel seated in a wheelchair.
RETURN JOURNEYS
For a return collection, give the office your arriving train company and service, origin, date and scheduled arrival time, along with a contact number. Agree the car meeting point and exit separately; a return booking does not automatically retain your outward driver or vehicle.
If your train is delayed or your exit changes, call the office on 020 8870 8888 to request a revised arrangement. The office will confirm whether the change is accepted and any revised charge; waiting can also affect the cost.
GOOD TO KNOW
The essentials for your car journey and onward train.
The quote reflects your particular journey, including the pickup and destination, timing, vehicle and any agreed extras. Send your full SW12 pickup address, destination, date, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop so the office can quote for the journey you need.
Arrange railway assistance separately with your train operator; booking a car does not arrange it. Waterloo’s Passenger Assistance meeting point is on the main concourse opposite platform 12.
Tell the KB Cars office about mobility or boarding needs and any accompanying carer. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; discuss this with the office in advance. An additional escort inside a building is a separate arrangement, with any cost agreed for the task.
Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
