BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

Plan your arrival at King's Cross

Choose the right railway station and allow time between your car arrival and train departure.

Choose the right station

London King's Cross is on Euston Road, N1 9AL, and is a separate railway station from St Pancras International. Give the office your exact destination and train operator so the car is planned for the right departure.

Set a station-arrival target

Tell the office when you want to arrive at the station, not just when your train departs. Allow time to reach your departure area and arrange any railway assistance with your operator. King's Cross lists Pancras Road set-down points on the island and station side; discuss your drop-off needs with the office.

YOUR SW7 PICKUP

Start from your SW7 address

A pre-booked car collects you from your agreed SW7 address, so you do not first have to get yourself and your luggage to Gloucester Road Underground Station. There will still be a walk from the station drop-off to your departure area.

Tell the office which building or entrance you need and about any difficulty walking or boarding. If the proposed pickup point cannot be used safely, we can discuss a practical alternative.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose room for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. An estate is an option for extra luggage; for a larger party, ask about a six-passenger vehicle. Choose for the whole party and its luggage, not just the number of seats.

Tell us the number and sizes of suitcases and cabin bags, plus any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. A carer travelling with you needs a seat too; the office can confirm a suitable arrangement.

RETURN COLLECTION

Return collection from King's Cross to SW7

Arrange your return as a separate collection. Give the office your arriving train operator and service, where it starts, travel date, expected arrival time and a contact number. We will agree the car meeting point separately; it is not necessarily the outward drop-off point.

If your train is delayed or your plans or exit change, call KB Cars on 020 8870 8888 to discuss the collection and confirm any revised arrangement. Applicable waiting or changes can affect the cost.

GOOD TO KNOW

Your station transfer questions

The car, station assistance and onward rail journey each have their own arrangements.

How is my SW7 to King's Cross journey quoted?

Your quote reflects the actual journey, including addresses, date and time, vehicle and agreed extras. Give us your full pickup address, destination, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time; include any extra stop.

Request a quote online or call the office. An enquiry, quote or payment alone is not a confirmed booking: KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

What if I need help inside the station?

Railway assistance is arranged separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. King's Cross is listed as having step-free access to every platform.

Tell our office about your mobility and boarding needs. We can arrange guidance to the car and loading of ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair without charge. An additional escort inside a building is a separate arrangement, with any cost agreed for the task.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
