BEFORE YOU TRAVEL
Tell us your train operator, service and date, and the time you want to arrive at Waterloo—not just the departure time. Allow time to reach the concourse, arrange any assistance and find your platform.
Waterloo’s main concourse has step-free access to the platforms, and exits 1, 2 and 3 are identified as step-free routes. Exit 2 has lift access towards Waterloo Road and the Underground Jubilee line. Tell the office about your access needs so we can discuss a suitable drop-off arrangement.
Arrange Passenger Assistance with your train operator. Its Waterloo meeting point is on the main concourse opposite platform 12; allow time to get there and reach your departure area.
YOUR SW7 PICKUP
A pre-booked car can collect you at your SW7 or South Kensington address, so you do not have to reach an Underground station or change with your luggage. You will still need time to get from the drop-off to your departure area inside Waterloo.
Gloucester Road Underground Station is on Gloucester Road and South Kensington Underground Station is on Pelham Street. When comparing your options, consider how you would reach the station from your actual starting point. For a car pickup, give us your full address and any entrance or access details that will help us find you.
ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY
Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, minivan and luxury options. An estate can be useful for extra luggage; a six-passenger vehicle is an option for a group, while seven- or eight-plus-passenger arrangements can be discussed with the office.
Tell us the size of your party and the number and size of your bags, including any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. Seats and luggage space need to be considered together, and the office will confirm a suitable arrangement.
RETURN JOURNEY
For a return from London Waterloo to SW7, give the office your arriving train operator and service, travel date, expected arrival time and a contact number. We will agree a lawful, accessible car meeting point with you separately; a return booking does not automatically retain your outward driver or vehicle.
If your train is delayed or your exit changes, call the 24-hour office on 020 8870 8888 to discuss the collection and confirm any revised arrangement. Waiting or changes can affect the cost.
GOOD TO KNOW
Practical answers for your car journey and rail connection.
We quote for your particular journey, including the addresses, timing, vehicle and any agreed extras. Send your full pickup address and destination, date and time, passenger numbers and luggage, plus your train service and requested Waterloo arrival time. Include any extra stop or vehicle preference.
An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm a booking. Your booking is confirmed when KB Cars accepts it by SMS and/or email.
Arrange railway Passenger Assistance separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. Tell our office about your mobility and boarding needs when arranging the journey.
We can arrange guidance to the car and loading of ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair without charge. If you need an additional escort inside the station, discuss the task and any agreed cost with the office. KB Cars does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
