PRE-BOOKED PRIVATE HIRE

TW1 to London King's Cross private hire

Travel from your TW1 address to King's Cross in a vehicle suited to your party and luggage. Request a quote for your journey and vehicle, or call our 24-hour office on 020 8870 8888.

PLAN YOUR DEPARTURE

Arrive at the right station, ready for your train

Set a station-arrival target that leaves you time to reach your departure platform.

King's Cross is separate from St Pancras

London King's Cross is on Euston Road, London N1 9AL, and is a different station from St Pancras International. Give the office your train operator and service and the time you want to arrive at King's Cross, not just the train's departure time.

Allow for your onward journey inside

King's Cross has step-free access to all platforms; its station guide has assistance and lift information. There is a family lounge on the main concourse and the Elphick Room mobility assistance lounge. Ask your rail operator about station assistance and allow time for the walk to your platform.

YOUR TW1 PICKUP

Start from your address, not the station

KB Cars can collect you from your TW1 address, including in Twickenham or St Margarets, so you don't need to make a separate first journey to a local station with your luggage.

If your pickup is at a station, specify which one: Twickenham station is on London Road, TW1 1BD; St Margarets station is on St Margarets Road, TW1 2LH. They are separate stations. Give the office your exact pickup point so it can agree a safe, practical arrangement.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose space for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with the office, or ask about executive, mini van and luxury options. A six-passenger vehicle is also an option; ask the office about seven- or eight-plus passenger arrangements.

Tell us how many people are travelling and the number and size of cases and cabin bags, plus any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. The right vehicle depends on the combined party and load, not seats alone.

RETURN JOURNEY

Arrange a separate return to TW1

For a return from London King's Cross to TW1, give the office your arriving train operator and service, travel date and scheduled arrival time, destination and a contact number. Agree the car meeting point separately; a return booking does not automatically retain your outward driver or vehicle.

If your train or plans change, call 020 8870 8888 to request an update. The change is not in place until the office accepts it; agree the revised arrangement and any charge. Waiting may be chargeable under the applicable terms.

GOOD TO KNOW

King's Cross transfer questions

The essentials for your car journey and onward train.

What do you need for a quote?

Your quote reflects the specific journey and vehicle. Send your full pickup address, destination, date and time, passenger numbers and luggage details, together with your train service and requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop so the office can quote for the journey you need.

What if I need help inside the station?

Arrange railway assistance separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. Tell the KB Cars office about your mobility and boarding needs too, including any accompanying carer.

Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge. Contact the office in advance where possible so suitable help can be coordinated. An optional escort inside a building is a separate arrangement; any cost will be agreed for the task. KB Cars does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
