KB CARS · STATION TRANSFER

W1D to London King's Cross transfers

Pre-book private hire from your W1D address to King's Cross, with a vehicle chosen for your party and luggage. Request a journey-specific quote or call our 24-hour office on 020 8870 8888.

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

Plan your arrival at King's Cross

Choose your station-arrival target before arranging your departure from W1D.

Choose the right station

London King's Cross is on Euston Road, London N1 9AL. It is a separate railway station from St Pancras International, so make sure your booking names the station you need.

Allow time before your train

Tell us your train operator and service and the time you want to arrive at the station, not just the train departure time. Allow for reaching your platform and any assistance you need; our office can help plan your pickup around that target.

PICKUP AND DROP-OFF

From your W1D address to the station

Whether you are starting in Soho or near Tottenham Court Road, your pre-booked car collects you from your address, so you do not need to carry your luggage to a public transport starting point. Allow time for the walk inside King's Cross after drop-off.

Network Rail lists set-down points on the island and station side of Pancras Road. Discuss your drop-off and any mobility needs with the office; the driver must stop safely and lawfully.

ROOM FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Choose room for people and luggage

Discuss a saloon, estate or MPV with our office, or ask about executive, mini van and luxury options. An estate may suit extra luggage; a six-passenger vehicle is a group option, with luggage considered alongside the passenger count. Ask the office about seven- or eight-plus-passenger vehicles.

Tell us the number and size of suitcases and cabin bags, plus any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. We can help agree a suitable vehicle for the whole party and its load.

RETURN JOURNEY

Book a separate return to W1D

For collection from London King's Cross, call 020 8870 8888 to arrange a separate journey back to W1D. Give the office your train operator, service origin, scheduled arrival date and time, and a contact number. Agree the exit and a suitable car meeting point with the office.

If your train is delayed or your exit changes, contact the office to discuss the revised collection and obtain confirmation of any accepted change. Waiting may be chargeable; ask the office about the applicable terms.

GOOD TO KNOW

Station transfer questions

The essentials for your car journey and rail connection.

What do you need for a quote?

We quote for your particular journey and vehicle, including any agreed extras. Send your full pickup address and destination, date, passenger and luggage details, train service and requested station-arrival time. Include any extra stop so the quote reflects your plans.

What if I need help inside the station?

Railway assistance is arranged separately with your train operator; booking the car does not arrange it. King's Cross has step-free access to all platforms, and the station guide has assistance and lift information.

Tell our office about your mobility needs so we can plan your assistance. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair are free when arranged in advance; this does not limit any assistance required by law. An optional additional escort inside the station is a separate arrangement whose scope and any cost should be agreed. KB Cars does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Does the transfer include my onward ticket?

Your car journey and rail ticket are separate bookings. Keep the service details to hand so the transfer can be arranged around the right departure.
