PRE-BOOKED PRIVATE HIRE

Wimbledon railway station transfers To or from the station

Book a private-hire journey to or from Wimbledon railway station with help from our 24-hour office. Request a quote based on your journey and vehicle needs, and agree a practical collection point before you travel.

The right station

Wimbledon railway station, The Broadway

KB Cars arranges pre-booked private-hire journeys to and from Wimbledon railway station, The Broadway, SW19 7NL. Specify the railway station rather than the Wimbledon Championships venue so the office plans the right destination.

Travel from your address to catch a train, or arrange collection from the station to a home, hotel, airport or another destination. The office will agree the station meeting point with you, subject to lawful stopping and station access.

Choose your journey

Plan your station transfer

Your departure and return collection are separate arrangements, with different timing to consider.

Travelling to the station

Give the office your collection address and train departure time. Discuss when you want to arrive at the station, allowing time for your own route to the platform and any assistance you have arranged.

Agree where to meet

For a station collection, tell the office your preferred exit or side. It will agree a practical, lawful meeting point; a station rank or bay is not assumed to be available for private hire.

Arriving by train

Share your train's origin, date and scheduled arrival, your onward destination and the time you expect to be ready. If your train or exit changes, contact the office and obtain confirmation of the revised arrangement.

Arrange a return separately You can book a separate return collection for an approximate ready time. Train arrival is not the same as being ready at the meeting point. Contact the office if delayed; waiting or accepted changes may affect the cost, and a separate return does not retain the outward driver or vehicle.

Vehicle and assistance

Make the journey work for you

A saloon suits ordinary journeys; ask about an estate for extra luggage or a six-passenger vehicle for a group. Passenger numbers and luggage need to be considered together. Tell the office how many people are travelling and the number and size of your bags, including any pushchair, folding wheelchair or unusual item. For seven or more passengers, enquire with the office so it can discuss a suitable arrangement.

If steps, walking distance or getting into the vehicle matter, explain what you need. The office can discuss a workable meeting point and arrange guidance to the car or loading of ordinary bags and a folding wheelchair without charge. KB Cars does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles; a folding chair may travel as luggage where suitable.

GOOD TO KNOW

Wimbledon station transfer questions

Practical answers for your station collection or drop-off.

What should I include in my enquiry?

The office can quote for your addresses, timing, vehicle and agreed extras. For a journey to the station, give your collection address, date, train departure and preferred station arrival time. For a station collection, give the train origin, date, scheduled arrival, expected ready time and onward destination. Include passenger and luggage details, your preferred exit and any assistance needs. KB Cars is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your booking information.

Can you collect me from a station rank?

A station rank or bay is not automatically a private-hire pickup point. Tell the office which exit or side you plan to use, and agree a lawful, workable meeting point. Stay reachable around the collection; if walking to a proposed point is difficult, discuss an alternative with the office.

What if my train is delayed?

Contact the office as soon as you know about a delay or change of exit. Do not assume automatic train monitoring: ask the office to confirm any revised collection arrangement. Acknowledgment of your message is not acceptance of a change; if you have not had a response, call the office.

Can you help me reach the car?

Yes. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; tell the office about your needs in advance so suitable help can be coordinated. This is separate from railway Passenger Assist, platform access or porterage. An additional escort inside a building can be discussed separately, including any agreed cost.

Are train tickets and railway assistance included?

No. Arrange your rail tickets and any railway Passenger Assist separately with the railway. KB Cars plans the road transfer and can discuss ordinary help between the meeting point and the car.

When is my transfer confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed when KB Cars sends confirmation by SMS and/or email. An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm a car.
