Bus 285 to Heathrow Central
Route 285 connects Kingston and Heathrow Central through Hampton Wick. Heathrow Central is not a direct stop for Terminal 4 or 5, so allow for the onward connection to your terminal.
Compare the local stations
Hampton Wick station is on High Street, KT1 4DQ; Kingston station is on Wood Street, KT1 1UJ. National Rail classifies Hampton Wick as step-free category C and Kingston as category A. Check the applicable station directions and current assistance information when planning your journey.

Which car should I book for several suitcases?
Choose for passengers and luggage together. An estate offers a different luggage arrangement from a saloon; an MPV adds passenger seats, but using those seats can reduce luggage space. Tell us the number and sizes of large cases and cabin bags, plus any pushchairs or unusual items, so the office can confirm a suitable arrangement.
Can I request a child seat for the airport journey?
Yes. You can bring your own suitable seat or ask KB to arrange one when you book, subject to availability and suitability. Tell us the child’s age, relevant height and weight, and seat requirements; include the seat and any pushchair in your luggage needs. Agree the arrangement before travel.
What if I need to cancel my transfer?
Cancellation is free before your driver is dispatched. After dispatch a charge applies, up to the full fare once the driver has arrived. Contact the office as soon as your plans change.
Which terminal should I put on the booking?
Use the terminal shown for your individual flight by your airline. Heathrow passenger flights use Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5; your return flight may use a different terminal.
Is pickup from my home or a station?
Pickup is from your booked Hampton Wick address. The local stations mentioned in the public transport comparison are alternatives, not the default private-hire pickup point.
Can I arrange help with luggage or airport assistance?
Yes. Tell the office what help you need; guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge. If you need an escort inside a building, discuss the task and any cost with the office. KB does not currently have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so discuss boarding and luggage needs when booking.
For assistance at Heathrow, the airport asks passengers to arrange it through their airline or agent at least 48 hours before flying.
When is my transfer confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed when KB sends confirmation by SMS and/or email. An enquiry, quote or payment alone does not confirm a car.
