How Terminal 4 collection works
Terminal 4’s multi-storey closed on 23 June 2026. Heathrow offers two distinct collection options; the departure forecourt is not a pickup or waiting area.
Priority Pick-Up: attended collection
Priority Pick-Up is outside arrivals for quick collections. The driver must stay with the vehicle, so it cannot be left there while the driver meets you indoors.
Your KB Cars collection For airport-to-home and airport-to-university journeys, our arrivals meet-and-greet is free and indoors, with flight tracking. The office confirms the exact T4 parking and passenger meeting arrangements separately for each booking. Agree parking and waiting terms before booking; the airport’s options above are not a fixed KB collection procedure.

Your Terminal 4 journey quote
The quote reflects your addresses, direction, date and time, vehicle and agreed extras; peak travel can affect the price. Send the full collection and destination addresses and flight details. Tell us the passenger count, suitcase and cabin-bag counts and sizes, and any pushchairs, unusual items or vehicle and assistance needs, so we can agree a suitable arrangement. KB Cars is registered with the ICO; our Privacy Notice explains how we handle booking information.
Ask us to separate the journey fare, airport parking or access charges and driver waiting. Agree what is included and how extra charges apply before booking.
DEPARTURES AND LATE TRAVEL
Getting to Terminal 4 for departure
The Terminal 4 departure forecourt is reached via Stratford Road. Drop-offs are charged per entry; pickups, waiting and unattended vehicles are not permitted there. Ask the office how airport access charges are treated in your quote.
Tell us the terminal arrival time recommended by your airline or shown on your ticket so we can discuss your pickup time. If comparing public transport for an early flight or late arrival, note that the Piccadilly line’s Friday and Saturday Night Tube does not serve Terminal 4. Check the whole journey for your travel date, including your final connection home.
RAIL CONNECTIONS
Rail to Terminal 4: direct or change?
Compare the whole journey and cost with your bags, including travel to the station, terminal walking and any change at Heathrow.
Elizabeth or Piccadilly to Terminal 4
Choose a service for Terminal 4: Heathrow trains do not all serve the same terminals. Elizabeth line platforms are below arrivals. Include the journey to your boarding station and the walk between train and terminal with your bags.
Heathrow Express via Terminals 2 and 3
Join Heathrow Express at Paddington, then change at Terminals 2 and 3 for the free transfer train to Terminal 4. Include access to Paddington and the extra platform change with your luggage, rather than comparing only the Express train segment.

Can you carry a folding wheelchair?
Yes, we can carry folding wheelchairs in a suitable vehicle, but we currently have no wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Tell the office the folded size, other luggage, boarding needs and any assistance required so we can agree a suitable arrangement.
Can the driver help me and my bags?
Yes. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair are free. Tell the office about your needs in advance so we can arrange a driver able to help.
An optional escort to or inside a building, shopping centre or flat depends on the task and may carry a charge. Agree its scope and any fee with the office; this is separate from required assistance.
Can I request a child seat or bring my own?
Yes. You can bring and fit your own suitable child seat, or ask KB to supply one. The airport journey offer is £3; for non-airport pre-bookings over £50 the offer is also £3. Local and short-notice supply depends on availability; for other bookings, check the price with the office.
Give us the child’s relevant seat requirements and the number of seats needed so we can confirm suitability and the total charge before booking.
Does free meet-and-greet include waiting?
No. Free arrivals meet-and-greet does not mean unlimited free waiting. Confirm the applicable waiting terms and any airport parking or access charges with the office before booking.
