KB CARS · LONG-DISTANCE TRAVEL

Bath long-distance transfers to and from London One way or return.

Pre-book private hire between London and your Bath address. Our 24-hour office can quote for your journey, vehicle and agreed extras, and help plan a return.

Address-to-address travel

Travel to or from the Bath address you need

Whether you are travelling to or from a home, hotel, workplace or university, we can arrange a journey between your agreed Bath address and a London pickup or drop-off. A return to London does not require an earlier outward booking with KB.

The office confirms availability and a suitable vehicle, and quotes for your addresses, direction, date, time and agreed extras. Short-notice enquiries are welcome, including for collections outside London, subject to availability. Prepayment may be requested for an outside-London collection or a special arrangement.

Choose your journey

Plan the day around your finish

Choose the journey and vehicle arrangement that suits your plans.

One way, return or driver waiting

Arrange a one-way trip, a separate approximate return or a driver retained while your appointment or meeting ends. Retained waiting is chargeable under agreed terms. You can also contact the office when ready for a return car, subject to availability.

Agree stops and longer arrangements

Comfort stops and extra addresses can be included in the plan. Discuss longer duties, breaks or overnight arrangements with the office; a sightseeing itinerary is not automatically included.

Choose a suitable vehicle

A saloon suits ordinary journeys; ask about an estate for extra luggage, an executive car for premium travel or a six-passenger vehicle for a group. Seven- and eight-plus-passenger vehicles are available to enquire about. Passenger numbers and luggage are considered together.

Compare rail or coach Consider changes, luggage and the final walk or connection to your Bath address. A pre-booked car offers an agreed address-to-address arrangement instead.

Preparing your enquiry

Give us the right Bath meeting point

Bath Spa station and Bath Bus Station are central but distinct. If meeting at either, name the station and the side or meeting point you need. The office will agree a lawful, workable collection or drop-off point; a destination name does not establish access to a forecourt or private site.

For a quote, share the full origin and Bath destination, date and ready time, passenger count and luggage, plus any extra stops or return address. Tell us about assistance or vehicle preferences and whether your plans involve an appointment, meeting, family visit or leisure day. An enquiry or quote is not a confirmed booking: KB confirms a booking by SMS and/or email.

GOOD TO KNOW

Bath transfer questions

More help with your destination, return and passenger needs.

Can you take me to an address in Bath rather than a station?

Yes. We arrange journeys between London and an agreed Bath home, hotel, workplace or other address. If access or the stopping point is unclear, the office will agree a lawful, workable meeting point with you.

Should I book a return or ask the driver to wait?

It depends on how certain your finish is. Retaining the driver means chargeable waiting under agreed terms; a separate approximate return may suit a less predictable finish, but does not retain the outward driver or guarantee the same car. You can also contact the office when ready and request a car, subject to availability.

If your finish changes, the booker or authorised contact should ask the office for a change. For a time-critical change, call if your message has not been acknowledged. Applicable waiting or a revised journey may affect the cost; acknowledgment is not acceptance, and the change is not agreed until the office accepts it.

What if I have extra bags, a pushchair or limited walking?

Tell the office what you are bringing and what help you need so we can discuss a suitable arrangement. Include suitcase and cabin-bag counts and sizes, pushchairs, folded wheelchairs or unusual items, and any entry, step or seating needs. An accompanying carer also needs a seat.

Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge; telling us in advance helps us coordinate. KB does not have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so discuss boarding before acceptance. If you need an escort inside a building, the office can agree the task and any cost separately.

Can I compare rail or coach travel with a car?

Yes. Bath Spa and Bath Bus Station are distinct central arrival points, so the final walk or connection to your address can make a difference. Compare changes and luggage as well as the last leg; our office can discuss the complete address-to-address car journey.
