Plan your return
Reserve the driver to wait and return with you, with chargeable waiting agreed in advance; or arrange a separate approximate return and contact the office if delayed. Waiting or changes may affect the cost of a separate return, and that booking does not retain the outward car. You can also contact us when ready for a car, subject to availability rather than immediate collection.
Choose a suitable vehicle
A saloon suits ordinary journeys; ask about an estate for extra luggage, an executive car for premium travel, or a six-passenger vehicle for a group. Seven- or eight-plus-passenger vehicles are available to enquire about. Passengers and luggage need to be considered together: tell us how many people are travelling, including any accompanying carer, and the number and sizes of your cases and cabin bags. Mention pushchairs or folding wheelchairs too, so the office can confirm a suitable arrangement.

The right endpoint
City address, hotel or port terminal?
A Southampton city address or hotel is not the same destination as a cruise terminal or port visit. Give the office the full address and postcode, building or venue and proposed meeting point so the right endpoint can be agreed.
Tell us about access or walking needs as well as any stops and return plans. If the proposed meeting point is not workable, the office can discuss a safe, accessible alternative with you.

This page covers journeys to or from a Southampton city address, with a London pickup or drop-off. A cruise terminal or port visit needs a different arrangement: tell us the actual terminal, sailing details and realistic passenger-ready time so the office can agree the pickup.
Can I add a stop or change the destination?
Yes, ask the office to agree the change. An extra stop or new destination may need a revised quote, and the fare reflects the accepted journey. The booker or authorised contact should request a material change; receipt of a message or app request is not acceptance. The office confirms an accepted change and any revised charge.
Can you arrange help with walking or a folding wheelchair?
Yes. Guidance to the car and loading ordinary bags or a folding wheelchair can be arranged without charge. Tell the office about walking, entry or other assistance needs when booking so suitable help can be coordinated.
An optional escort inside a building is assessed separately and may be free or carry an agreed charge. KB does not have wheelchair-accessible vehicles; a folding chair may travel as luggage where suitable.
Can I book the return if I did not use KB for the outward trip?
Yes. A Southampton-to-London journey does not require a previous KB outward booking. Give the office your collection address, likely time and destination so it can assess availability and confirm the arrangement. If your finish time is uncertain, ask about waiting, a separate approximate return or contacting us when ready.
